Rhydd yr enghraifft a ganlyn (Adran XIV) syniad i'r darllenydd o'i ddull o ddefnyddio'r hanes (y mae'r oll yn Saesneg):
CRUCIFIXION. CAIAPHAS, ANNAS, CENTURION, JESUS, MARY, PRIESTS, NICODEMUS, JOSEPH, PILATE.
CAIAPHAS: This shall be a feast day ever.
ALL: Hail, King of the Jews 1 If thou art he, come down from the cross.
CAIAPHAS: Thou that savedst others, thyself thou canst not save. What, don't you hear?
ALL: Shew thy power, thou mighty King of the Jews!
JESUS: Father, forgive them, they know not what they do. ALL: If thou be Christ, save thyself and the two thieves. JESUS Verily I say unto you, to-day shall ye be with me in Paradise. ALL He speaks to them of Paradise. JESUS Mother, behold thy son. I thirst ALL: Give him vinegar. JESUS Eli, Eli, Lama, Sabachthani! ALL: Hark! he crieth for Elias. Let us see whether Elias will come and save him.
JESUS: It is finished. Father, into Thy hands I command my spirit.
ALL: What a dreadful earthquake! Crashing, falling rocks! Woe be to us! Verily, he is a Son of God. Let us go home. Almighty God, we have sinned; forgive us. The veil of the temple has been rent in twain! Dreadful!
