Yr oedd yr hanes wedi dechrau cerdded ers peth amser fod y mynydd i gael ei rannu, ac yr oedd y Cwm wedi cynhyrfu trwyddo. Ond ym Mehefin, 1865, derbyniodd yr holl dyddynwyr bapur glas, a phe buasai daeargryn wedi digwydd, nid wyf yn meddwl y buasai golwg gwylltach a mwy cynhyrfus ar wyneb neb nag a welais ar wyneb aml un haf y flwyddyn honno. Wele gopi a gefais ym mysg hen bapurau fy nhaid o gynnwys y papur glas:—

"Cwm Eithin" Inclosure.

I RICHARD WAKEFORD ATTREE of 8 Cannon Row in the City of Westminster in the County of Middlesex, the Valuer acting in the matter of the Inclosure of the Waste Lands of the Hills Sheepwalks or Commons situate in the Parish of "Cwm Eithin" in the County of Denbigh hereby give you Notice that the encroachment from the said land to be enclosed situate in the said Parish of "Cwm Eithin" now in your possession is with the residue of the said lands about to be divided allotted and inclosed and that you are at liberty within two calendar months from the service of this notice to take down and remove all buildings fences and other erections now standing on the said encroachment, and to convert the material thereof to your own use.

And I further give you Notice that unless peaceable possession of the said premises be given to me on or before the expiration of two calendar months from the service of this Notice I Richard Wakeford Attree shall on the 28th day of August next at 11 o'clock of the same day at the Magistrates Room in the Village and Parish of "Llanaled" in the said County of Denbigh apply to Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace, acting for the district of "Cwm Eithin" in the said County of Denbigh in Petty Sessions assembled to issue their Warrant directing the Constable of the said District to enter and take possession of the said premises, and to eject any person therefrom.
