XXV. "MS. 12—Ph. 2160. Poetry; 5 x 4 inches; pages i.—viii., 1—500; slightly imperfect at the end; in old calf binding. This MSS. is in the autograph of Thomas Evans of Hendre Vorfydd, between Corwen and Ruthin. The writing, which is rather archaic in style, was began in the year 1600. Witness the green letters

T. 1600 E.' on page 4—and was mostly done before 1604. Afterwards additions, somewhat unsavoury, were made on margins, spaces left blank, &c., down to the year 1616. Pen. MS. 157 is in the same hand; and most of the MSS. written by Roger Morys, such as Mostyn MS. 135, Peniarth MS. 169, &c., once belonged to this Thomas Evans.
